Couldnt be better. Fast, great interface.

Premium doesnt bring much, but I had to upgrade :) could not resist. This game is absolutely fabulous. Id add a mode where all errors are saved as future problems to solve. That would improve the learning experience. Id improve the touch zones when possible. Sometimes it is a bit tricky to pick your checkers. Having larger zones can easily be implemented. Saving stats progression locally would allow to see my trends, or even better a graph. That could be premium. The menus are simples but could be nicer. Id go for an HTML5 implementation (if not already). Thx a lot

I like the backgammon but I hate this version

Ive never seen a computer based program roll so many doubles in game after game. I dont mind getting beat if the play is fair. Dont waste your time.

I have now played over 1000 games and i have no doubt that the rolls are not random. Thats just wrong. I dare the programers to prove my theory wrong,

Like most computer backgammon games, this one cheats on the advanced settings. Have to go back and play a version where you roll actual dice. I cant understand why they cannot develop fair rolls.

Double after double over 100s of games during the bear off. Absurd crap.

This game is just crap, the computer always gives himself the Perfect dice number and gives you pretty much nothing. Worst programming ever !!!!!!!!!

It really is a shame that the developer felt the need to basically cheat to replicate skill at the higher levels of play. The interface is excellent but the game play is boring at low levels and absurd at higher skill settings. A few obvious "tweaks" to tilt the advantage to the "house" - just like Vegas. Very frustrating to have good matches ruined repeatedly with ridiculous streaks of magical rolls for the house. Almost every game against the program at high levels will unfold in exactly the same boring way. Statistically the die rolls appear balanced, but as any good BG player knows, its not the value of the roll, its the timing of the roll. The app will hand you lots of doubles and high pips when they are useless or will wreck your house. Similarity, the computer will throw a disproportionate frequency of doubles when the human player is on the bar. There are other examples... Game plays hugely different when played with manual dice - that fact tells the whole story.

This is based on neural net programming. Excellent top notch play. Every single backgammon app for iOS pales in comparison. The dice do not cheat. This app is worth the money if you are a serious backgammon player.

Its simply superior. Try it against GNU BG and see for yourselves.

Tried this app, did not like the interface on iPhone. There wasnt nearly enough player control with too many quick automatic things happening. I also was not impressed at how badly skewed the "randomness" of the rolls became in "advanced" mode. Too pretty, not enough work on the algorithm. Try again.

Im pretty addicted to this app. Its fun and challenging. That said, Im fairly sure it cheats. The dice stats dont tell the full story and can be manipulated to suggest fairness. Opponent has impeccably times roles, and I seem to get a lot of doubles when locked off the board.

Its rare to finish a game or two before the app goes into a crashing death spiral. Im not a high level player and enjoy some of the learning features. However, in my opinion, its stability would make it a beta release failure, let alone acceptable at a premium price.

The AI is strong enough unlike some other Backgammon games for iPad. The advertisement is really disturbing, and there are many restrictions. I would expect the paid version for free, because on PCs we can play GNU BG for free.
