App keeps crashing and freezing. Cant get through a game. Lost $10!

Good game but it crashes all the time. Cant play a game without it crashing at least twice

After just a few games I lost interest. At least make the dice rolls random. I literally laughed out loud it was so blatantly rigged! Shame too..... Could have been a good game.

This app doesnt work well with IOS 9. It continually freezes and returns error messages. Suggests moves but doesnt show or explain calculations. When it did work properly it was good for practice but not as helpful in really mastering the game as it suggested it would.

Like all other backgammon apps....could have been a great game but completely rigged dice. Penalizes you for accepting a double it doesnt think you should have. I dont get why all these BG apps cant have random rolls, but stellar play to make it an expert. Its so frustratingly stupid

Update for IOS 9.0 is junk. Major bugs including error messages, freezing and crashing...all in one game, let alone a match. Get it together lazy programmers.

Horrible teaching app! When you finally decide to accept the cube you will lose more often then win. Its over the top. It wants to demoralize you! very anoying. Nobody likes to feel like they can ever win. Even a win feels like a loss because the dice are too rigged! Never recommend it anyone.

Not realistic with dice generator, rolls way too many perfect rolls. Does possibly improve your ability by forcing you approach your game from alternative as you must use a strategy to try to beat the luckiest opponent ever.

This is probably the best free backgammon app, but the latest version seems too easy and also crashes all the time. Not sure what the problem is.

Your October fix didnt do the job! The app constantly crashes, freezes, closes, and is sending error messages every game. Please spend some time and get it together. Was a good app in earlier iOS versions.

This program is a joke for any serious backgammon player. At expert level it rolls what it needs to roll in order to win. 1/36 odds again, and again and again. 2 stars for training you to cope with extreme bad luck but eventually it gets boring.

This tutor has helped me greatly. Smarter and more aggressive moves. I wish there would be a little more explanation as the match ends.

iPhone 6+ with iOS 9.1 App crashes frequently enough that it is unusable.

For a paid app this has been really difficult. It constantly freezes and crashes. Used to be a great app. I dont know what was done but it really messed up a great app.

Less glitches than older version. Wish there were better instructions on how to set up positions for review.

And nobody Else even comes close

Crashes so often I am looking for a new BG app.

This would be a great app if it wasnt so buggy. I paid for this as Im a serious BG player but the app continually throws errors or crashes even though Im running the latest iOS and Im using a brand new iPad The app barfs in the middle of games, examples: In tutor mode, the app will criticize its own moves! Even more irritating, those "Errors" were counted against my performance I have been able to move pieces onto slots that the computer owns In one game the computer had one piece on my 1 slot but the app wouldnt let me hit the piece, I ultimately "lost" the game It get so irritating sometimes that I seriously consider removing it.

I am an beginner,an unorthodox player, and not in anyway a high scorer, but I truly love this game, and I learn something each time I play. Thanks for a challenging , fun game.

The PC version, eXtreme Gammon, is fantastic, and I cant recommend it highly enough. Unfortunately, XG Mobile is the typical iPad backgammon app. At the higher "skill" levels, XG Mobile follows the well worn path of great dice instead of great play. To be fair, all of the "stronger" iOS backgammon apps do this.... all of them. The vocal defenders will explode at such a suggestion, but Ive played the all and they all do it. Its predictable. With XG Mobile, and that "other" backgammon app, the only option you have is to use the manual dice setting.... but how annoying is that? And if youre going to use the manual dice option, I would save the money and buy the "other" app. Although the iPad is the perfect backgammon device, the depressing truth is that a perfect (or realistic) backgammon app does not exist. Ive tried them all. Its hard to believe, but better players who want a strong and realistic game still have to use their PC, and it cant recommend the PC version of this app strong enough. Heres hoping the stronger processor in the iPad Air allows the development of a stronger backgammon engine.
